Casting News

Hello Everyone!

As the Fall audition season kicks into gear, I have already begun to see the fruits of my labor. In September, I began studying at the Queens College Aaron Copland School of Music where I am pursuing my Advanced Diploma in Vocal Performance.

I have many exciting performance opportunities coming up at Queens. I will be singing the Soprano Solo in Bach's Magnificat and Vivaldi's Gloria with the Queens College Choral Society on December 12th in Colden Auditorium. In April, I will be performing the role of Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte with the Queens College Opera Studio.

In January, I will make my debut with the Bronx Opera Company in their production of Blitztein's Regina. I will be covering the role of Birdie and performing in the ensemble.

When I have more details on performance times, locations and pricing I will post them here. In the meantime, I hope to see many of you at these upcoming performances and I'll keep you updated as the Fall audition season progresses. For up to the minute updates, head over to my twitter and instagram accounts.

New Audio Recordings

With audition season in full swing, I took the opportunity to upload some selections from my most recent recording sessions to the audio tab of the site. These recordings were made with audio engineer Craig Kaufman during the 'Recording Days' at the Opera America Center and with Brooklyn based audio engineer, Jeff Curtin.

For more information about 'Recording Days' at Opera America, head to their website. For more information about recording with Jeff Curtin, please contact me directly.

The Alfredo Silipigni Vocal Competition

This Sunday, April 27th I will have the pleasure of participating in the finals for the Alfredo Silipigni Vocal Competition hosted by the New Jersey State Opera at the Aprea Theater in New Jersey.

I am looking forward to performing Donna Elvira's aria "Mi tradi quell'alma ingrata" from Don Giovanni by Mozart as my first selection. If selected for the final round, I will perform Micaëla's aria "Je dis que rien ne m'épouvante" from Carmen by Bizet.

Admission to the finals is $15.00 and the Aprea Theater is located at 199 Scoles Avenue in Clifton, New Jersey. Please head over to the "Upcoming Engagements" tab for more information.

I eagerly await the opportunity to sing once again for this wonderful organization and I hope to see you there!
